History
Dutton’s Navigation was founded in 1998 as a training facility, specializing in the education of Marine Oilfield Personnel in the safe movement, positioning, and preloading of Jack Up Drilling rigs.
By 2004, Dutton’s Navigation was an industry leader in all phases of Rig Moving Education; Jack Up and Semi-Submersible Towing, Positioning, and emplacement for all types of locations and rigs.
In 2008, a sister company (ORMI) was formed to accommodate the growing need for experienced, competent, and vetted Rig Movers to the industry.
In 2016, Dutton’s Navigation expanded upon their Marine Warranty Survey services with a full fledged MWS division.
